Onitha d'ewangelion of Easter. First part to Qala Ramba, Shambah to the tune "Mambu'a Hayye"
Onita d'evangelion: They will come in joy and gladness. - Lord, the women who came to the sepulchre were filled with joy instead of sadness. And they hastened to announce to the apostles the words which they had heard from the angels, which said to them: ‘Do not fear. Why do you weep? You seek Jesus. He rose and conquered death by His death’. But we, my Lord, will shout with praise and say: Praise to You. Weeping may remain for the evening, but joy (comes) in the morning. - Lord, the women... Glory. - Mary saw Christ with great unspeakable glory, that He rose from the sepulchre. And since she thought that He is the gardener, He called and said to her: ‘Mary, faithful woman, why do you weep?’ * She got up from sorrow to joy with wonder and astonishment, and she turned and called Him: ‘Teacher’; and He confirmed her about His glorious resurrection. ‘For, as I have not ascended to heaven to My Father, and the Father of all who believe’. Son of God who rose from the sepulchre and raised us with Him in glory; * in Your mercy, make us all worthy to receive You on the day of Your coming and have mercy on us.
