Theshbohtha
Description

Teshbohta of Ruha d'qudsha. The hymn text is possibly an original composition, but the final two lines marked ܫ (Shuraya / Versicle) and ܦ (Punaya / Response) are a direct, exact translation of the famous Latin versicle and response used in the Roman Rite for Pentecost, Confirmations, and the Votive Mass of the Holy Spirit (drawn from Psalm 104:30) Latin V: Emitte Spiritum tuum et creabuntur. Latin R: Et renovabis faciem terrae.
