First Madrasha of the Sunday of Osha'na, to the tune "Tahra Ramba"
Madrasa: Unaya. Praise to Him who instructed the Hebrew children to shout ‘Osana’ to the Son of David. Bate: Our Lord said: ‘Go quickly to that village in front of us and notice a colt tied with an ass standing there, whose high back has not been subjected to men and no one has mounted; from its childhood it was gracing in the wilderness. Untie it and bring it Me soon’. * Zechariah preached and showed the mystery of His bodily humility. He called Zion and announced her, namely, ‘Behold your effulgent King coming to you, riding upon a colt. He showed that His coming to us is meek and pleasant. He consoled the preacher in the accomplishment of his prophecy, when the children praised Him with Osana. * The gathering of the multitudes were spreading their clothes before the Son of David because they were filled with unspeakable and infinite wonder and astonishment; wonder to speak out and astonishment to utter how was fulfilled the word of the prophet who preached and said: ‘You, daughter of Sion, exult exceedingly and rejoice’.
